Looking for a casual, comfortable atmosphere to enjoy your Thanksgiving meal in? Look no further than Annie’s Place! They will be open from 11 AM - 3 PM on Thanksgiving day, serving a traditional turkey dinner and a ham dinner, both for $18 per person. If you're saving room for desert, be sure to sample a slice (or two) of their famous pies! You can find this home-like eatery in the Gage Shopping Center right here in Top City.
The Longhouse Buffet at Prairie Band Casino and Resort will offer a Thanksgiving Day buffet on November 22 from 11 a.m. - 9 a.m. You can swipe your Players card at any kiosk to receive $5 off your voucher from 8 a.m. – 8:45 p.m.!
If you’re in the mood for some non-traditional Thanksgiving fare, Monsoon Indian Grill will be open from 11 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. and 5 p.m. -9:30 p.m. on turkey day this year. Here you will find authentic North Indian cuisine, including grilled bread, lentils, vegetables and spiced marinated meats.
McFarland’s, a long-standing Topeka favorite, will be open from 10:45 a.m. - 2 p.m. on the holiday. Stop by for a filling Thanksgiving lunch reminiscent of homestyle cooking!
Skip the turkey and try some Japanese and Chinese cuisine this year! Ling’s Cafe is a Mongolian grill and sushi bar with dine-in and carry-out options, open from 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. on Thanksgiving day.
If you’re a football fan, stop by and catch the evening Thanksgiving NFL games on the many TVs at this local grill and bar. They’ll open at 7 p.m. on turkey day.
Topeka Community Thanksgiving Dinner
This year’s 51st annual Topeka Community Thanksgiving Dinner will be held at noon on Thursday, November 22, at the Kansas Expocentre’s Agriculture Hall, near S.W. 17th and Tyler. There is no charge for the meals, and all are welcome to attend!
