In the Heights at TCT

From the man who brought the world Hamilton, you will not want to miss Lin-Manuel Miranda’s first full-length show, In the Heights, opening this weekend at the Topeka Civic Theatre.

First conceptualized when Miranda was a sophomore in college, In the Heights is guaranteed to wow audiences with its fresh look at what family is. The four-time Tony-winning musical centers around life in Washington Heights, a tight-knit Dominican-American community in New York. The audience is guided through the lives of three generations who must choose between tradition and their future.

Topeka Pilots vs Amarillo Bulls

Don’t take a bus to Amarillo, take your one-way ticket to go where anything is possible for you…a Topeka Pilots game! That’s right, the Topeka Pilots are going head to head against the Amarillo Bulls this weekend and you don’t want to miss it.

The Dance 101

What better weekend fun to do than get your groove on and feel classy doing it? The Foundry has teamed up with Musical Knights Mobile DJs and JF Dance to bring you a one of a kind experience! They are offering a two-hour ballroom dance class with champagne and hors d’ oeuvres. This is perfect for couples wanting to impress, friends having a ball, or even a wedding party learning a few things before the big day.

RK Shows will have a variety of vendors displaying guns, hunting supplies, military surplus and outdoor gear. Vendor’s will be available to teach you, answer your questions, and help you find exactly what you’re looking for.
