Get those sneakers ready and invite your family and friends to walk with us to fight heart disease and stroke.
On September 14th, the American Heart Association invites you to join us at Lake Shawnee for the annual Topeka Heart Walk.
This is a free, family-fun event for the entire community to participate in. We encourage teams to raise funds for our lifesaving education and research. Every amount helps! Everyone is encouraged to come out, participate and make a difference.

The Heart Walk is the American Heart Association’s mission – building healthier lives, free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke – in action. Held annually, the walk celebrates those who have made lifestyle changes in an effort to improve their heart-health, and encourages others to take the pledge to live healthier lifestyles, while raising the funding needed for life-saving research and education.
