Kay McFarland’s 90th Birthday Celebration – A Legacy in Bloom
Join us on Sunday, July 27, 2025, at the Kay McFarland Japanese Gardens to honor the life and legacy of Kansas’s first female Supreme Court Chief Justice. Enjoy an inspiring afternoon with reflections from community leaders, family-friendly activities, light refreshments, and a special butterfly release. The celebration runs from 3:00 to 5:00 PM. Afterward, stay for the evening concert at the amphitheater hosted by the Topeka Santa Fe Band at 7:00 PM, also a family-friendly event. All are welcome!
