Apple Festival

Apple Festival is a 40-year Topeka tradition celebrating the fall season and everything apple. Live entertainment, demonstrations, heritage food and arts and crafts fair make this a fun family event. Demonstrations include pioneer cooking, black smiths, wood smiths and weavers. Heritage food will be served, and all the historic buildings will be open with tour guides. Food includes turkey legs, brisket, apple pie, apple fritters and brown bread ice cream. You can purchase old-fashioned soda fountain and ice cream treats at the Potwin Drug Store. The Wheatstock music festival is also now a part of Apple Festival.
