The Washburn Piano and Organ Society Gala Concert showcases the achievements of the highest-performing students of Washburn Piano Day, which took place earlier this spring. Washburn Piano Day participants had to perform one or two pieces from memory,and were judged by university piano professors (Dr. Lucy Tan and Dr. Junyi Nie) and Washburn music major volunteers. Highest-scoring participants were awarded certificates of excellence and ribbons of special recognition. The gala concert is free to the public and will take place on April 22, 2025 at 7:30 p.m. in White Concert Hall.
