The Kansas Book Festival brings in 20-25 authors who make presentations about their recent books. There is opportunity for questions after the presentations and the a ability to purchase the books. There are also vendors who are selling their books, a children's tent with activities, food trucks, and local entertainment. Presentations are made inside the Capitol while the rest is outside on the north side of the Capitol. This is to promote a life-long love of learning and literacy for all Kansans.
