The Kansas Book Festival, which is celebrating its 10th Anniversary, is a family-friendly, free festival that offers entertaining and thought-provoking presentations for readers of all ages. Over 40 authors will be hosted at the Mabee Library on Washburn's campus, to talk about topics related to newly published books, including memoirs, Young Adult fantasy novels, picture books, nonfiction books on Kansas history, poetry collections, and mysteries. Participants can enjoy food and live entertainment at an outdoor stage, or buy books at outdoor vending tents.
