On Saturday, September 24, 2022, the Mabee Library at Washburn University, will host the 11th annual Kansas Book Festival. 45 authors will make presentations on recently-published books (i.e., novels, memoirs, topical nonfiction, poetry collections, and children's books). Over 30 outdoor vendors will sell books, including new books by regional presses. The Kansas Children's Discovery Center will provide a special outdoor children's activity area, and children's books will be sold by Paper June Bookstore. At an outdoor stage, attendees will experience music, dance, and storytelling. And lunch and snacks will be available. All presentations are free and open to the public.
