The NOTO Summer Concert series is a celebration of music that strives to offer culturally rich experiences for the community through a diverse variety of genres and performers. In addition to regionally acclaimed headlining bands, these concerts also feature a local emerging artist as the opening act. With the intentional focus on a diversity of music performances, the vibe of the NOTO Arts & Entertainment District and the intimate setting of the Redbud Park, these concerts are like none other in our community. The Summer Concert series is planned for five consecutive third Fridays, May through September, 7-10pm. The 2023 NOTO Summer Concert series is proudly presented by Blue Cross, Blue Shield of Kansas.
Join us on Sept 15 for our headlining act, the Anchondo Reunion Band, featuring Héctor Anchondo on vocals and guitar, Khayman Winfield on drums and Joe Corley on Bass Guitar. Héctor Anchondo is the 2020 1st place International Blues Challenge Winner in solo/duo. He also received the Cigarbox guitar award for “Best Guitarist”. Hector’s latest album “Let Loose Those Chains” was released in summer of 2021.
