Join us at the Mulvane Art Museum for the exhibition titled Novel Art – Narrative Paintings by Michael Young and Ian Young. The exhibition features twenty-two paintings from the private collection of Kansas City collector Fred Whitehead. Michael Young and Ian Young, father and son, each created paintings based on famous literary works, 100 Years of Solitude by Gabriel Garcia Marquez and Brave New World by Aldous Huxley. Both series were created at the request of the collector, who first met the Youngs in 2010.

The Mulvane Art Museum is open Tuesday, 10 am to 7 pm; Wednesday through Friday, 10 am to 5 pm; Saturday, 1 to 4 pm; and closed on Sunday & Monday. The museum is free and open to the public.
