The Topeka Symphony will perform Gustav Mahler’s towering Symphony No. 2, Resurrection, at the final concert of the orchestra’s 71st Season on Saturday, April 29, in White Concert Hall on the campus of Washburn University. The 7:30 p.m. program is the culmination of the TSO’s “Lovers, Villains, and Legends” season. Led by the Topeka Symphony’s music director and conductor, Kyle Wiley Pickett, the concert will feature the combined voices of the Washburn University Choir, the Topeka Festival Singers, and members of the Shawnee County Choral Society along with soloists Sarah Tannehill Anderson, Soprano, and Kelly Birch, Mezzo-Soprano. The concert is sponsored by Capital City Bank.
