Romeo & Juliet Presented by Lady Shakes Theatre Company

Lady Shakes is at it again, ready to produce an all-female casting of Romeo and Juliet! Under the direction of Alex Reilly, we will give this classic tragedy new life.

This tale of two “star-crossed lovers” follows a young man, Romeo, who falls in love with a young woman, Juliet, only to realize that they are each from feuding families. The turmoil of forbidden love, the chaos of angry tempers, and the thrill of hopeful dreams reach beyond the young couple before culminating in an explosive conclusion.

All roles will be played by women in this “breeches” production. Don’t miss this familiar tale as you’ve never seen it before!
