The History of Tulip Time
Tulip Time began in the home gardens of Jerold Binkley, a member of the Topeka Beautification Association, who has dedicated years of service to the Shawnee County community. For 22 years, he shared his personal gardens with visitors to Topeka. His greater desire to create an ongoing and beautiful county-wide event gave birth to Tulip Time which draws visitors from around the nation.
