The Topeka Zoo will celebrate World Orangutan Day this Saturday, August 16th, 9:00-3:00.
Orangutans are critically endangered due largely to habitat loss and poaching. Zoo staff will be available in several different locations to speak Orangutan with you!
The first 200 guests through the gate Saturday morning will receive free Orangutan cookies to enjoy while you roam the zoo.
Come join us at the Topeka Zoo this Saturday, August 17th, 9:00-3:00 for World Orangutan Day. For questions please contact Dennis Dinwiddie at ddinwiddie@topeka.org.
