Friday: 

Helmets are strongly encouraged at all riding events. 

🚲 8 p.m. - GLOW RIDE Meet at the South Steps of the Kansas Statehouse for this easy 6.5 miles, with a stop at the Washburn campus. Lots of ride leaders. Depart at 9 p.m.

🚲 👦 👧 9 p.m. - Kid's GLOW RIDE - Kyler Carpenter will sing as he leads children in a Glow Loop around the Capital Grounds - twice.

  • Visit Topeka will provide glow sticks. Decorate your bike and wear a costume if you like.

⚖️ 7:30 a.m. - Yoga Our friends at Lava Yoga lead this morning yoga practice in the parking lot next to the Visit Topeka visitor center, 618 S. Kansas Ave.

🚲 🍎 8 a.m. - Breakfast Ride Depart at 7th and Kansas for a ride through Oakland to Billard's Landing Cafe. Bring cash. This is a moderate ride.

🚲 🍎 🏬 👦 👧 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Open streets along Kansas Avenue. Enjoy vendors, food trucks, exploring unique and antique bikes and much more.

Thanks to our partners at Shawnee County Parks and Recreation, we'll have a portable pump track on Kansas Avenue. And our Heartland BMX pals are bringing a strider track for races, too. 

Be on the lookout for magic tricks from The Astonishing Curtis, live music and more in the pocket parks.

🚲 🍎 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. - Lunch Ride Depart at 7th and Kansas for a ride to NOTO Arts District for lunch. (Bradley's, NOTO Burrito and Wheel Barrel.) Bring your lunch money, plastic welcome. This is an easy ride. 

🚲 👦 👧 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. - Kids Bike Rodeo and Ostacle Course Explore stations to learn about bike maintenance, rules of the road and helmet fitting (if your child doesn't have a helmet, we will provide one--while supplies last)! Finally, they can try manuvering our bicycle obstacle course. Helmets provided while supplies last. Special thanks to Safe Kids for their incredible support!

🚲 11:30 a.m. - Strider Race on the HeartlandBMX strider track, Kansas Avenue.

🚲 12:00 p.m. - Strider Race on the HeartlandBMX strider track, Kansas Avenue.

🚲 12:30 p.m. - Strider Race on the HeartlandBMX strider track, Kansas Avenue.

🚲 1:00 p.m. - Strider Race on the HeartlandBMX strider track, Kansas Avenue.

🚲 1:15 p.m. - Slow Ride Race

🚲 🍎 1-2 p.m. - Ice Cream Ride After lunch it's time for dessert! Join this group ride at 7th and Kansas for a jaunt to G's Frozen Cutard & Yogurt. This is an easy ride.

🎦 👦 👧 2-4 p.m. - Adventure Shorts at the Historic Jayhawk State Theatre of Kansas Check out Film by Bike Adventure Shorts, a 61-minute showcase of footage captured by cyclists across the nation. Chairs provided.

🚲 🍎 🍺 4 p.m. - Happy Hour Ride After the film, take off from the Jayhawk Theatre to taste and sip at Oscars, PT's and Burger Stand at College Hill. This is a moderate ride. 

Return to Downtown for Cruisin the Capitol car show, 6-9 p.m. and a concert outside The Celtic Fox.

Sunday:

Helmets are strongly encouraged at all riding events. 

🚲 A 50-mile excursion ride organized by Kaw Valley Bicycle Club. Meet at 7:30 a.m. at the Visit Topeka visitor center, 618 S. Kansas Ave. Light breakfast items, including coffee, will be served before the ride begins. This is an advanced ride.

2017 Cyclovia Volunteers needed
