The versatile Fire Station No. 2 is the perfect facility for meetings, wedding receptions, depositions, luncheons, and much more. Located at 719 SW Van Buren, across from the state capitol, the Historic Fire Station No. 2 is a Topeka landmark that is listed on the state and national Registers of Historic Places. Recently renovated, the Fire Station now offers modern, affordable meeting and event space to the Topeka community. The Weary Education Center, the largest of the three rooms, can comfortably accommodate up to 100 guests for a banquet, 80 for a classroom-style meeting, or more than 200 guests for a standing reception. The Michaud Board Room and the SJB Conference Room are perfect for smaller gatherings. Each room offers wireless Internet access, and guests may use our onsite kitchen and steam table.
