Named for the owner’s two Basset Hounds, Happy Basset Brewing Co. serves quality craft beer inside its classy, newly renovated brewery. You can enjoy a wide range of craft beer and craft beer cocktails. Try their signature Hoppy Basset IPA for a drink that has a little extra IBUs. If you are looking for a drink that is slightly smoother, try their popular Yellow Brick Blonde. With 12 beers on tap and more in rotation, you can find it all at Happy Basset where they “brew beer for dogs’ best friend.”
At the Norsemen Brewing Company, you won’t find any pillaging or plundering, you’ll only find tasty craft brews that belong in Viking lore. Sipping on a craft beer in the sophisticated comfort of the taproom will make you feel like you have finally found Valhalla. With Italian inspired architecture and French-American grapes, at Crooked Post Winery you will feel transported. This quaint vineyard and winery is located near Lake Perry and is home to a variety of fine wines made in house. If you’re serious about your wines, try the Noiret, a smooth, dark red wine with hints of raspberry, cherries and chocolate. If you’re looking to pair with food, try the Cayuga White, a white, dry and fruity wine that pairs well with cheese, chicken and fish. On top of the hand-crafted wine, try their woodfired pizza or their locally-sourced meat and cheese trays. You can also find several Kansas craft beers on tap and in bottles.
