Winter Wonderland, A Celebration of Lights, Benefitting TARC
View dazzling holiday light displays while winding through a scenic drive at Lake Shawnee. Event runs nightly Thanksgiving Eve through December 31. The funds raised are used to support TARC in continuing to provide excellent service, support, and advocacy to children, families, and adults in Topeka & Shawnee County with developmental, intellectual, and related disabilities and delays. Zoo Lights
Walk through the Topeka Zoo as it lights up with holiday lights, festive events, and even a visit from Santa. Event runs nightly starting late in November through December 31. Learn more HERE.

SLI Festival of Trees 
Enjoy one-of-a-kind decorated holiday trees and wreaths, homemade baked goods at the Sweet Shoppe, a silent auction, Festival Soiree, and more each year at Fairlawn Plaza. All are available for the whole family to enjoy from late November through the first weekend in December. All funds raised support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities supported by SLI.

Kready Holiday Spectacular
Celebrate the holiday season at a concert for the whole family! With 17 Broadway shows between them, Jeff Kready and Nikki Renée Daniels will bring the sounds of New York City to the heart of Topeka. They will be accompanied by the Topeka Symphony Orchestra and the Shawnee Choral Society. CASA Homes for the Holidays Tour
Tour homes elegantly decorated for the holidays by area designers and florists. Admission supports advocacy services for abused and neglected children. Enjoy the tour in November.

The Nutcracker Ballet
Performances of the Nutcracker Ballet can be found not by one ballet company, but often by two! Both Ballet Midwest and Kansas Ballet put on a show for the masses each holiday season. Catch their performances at the Topeka Performing Arts Center!

Christmas Light Show 
Topeka Bible Church presents their annual Christmas Light Show which combines Christmas lights and live musicians and vocalists to fill their auditorium with a concert-like Christmas experience. Cortez Holiday Light Show
Since 2008, the Cortez family has been lighting up the neighborhood! A show designed, planned, programed, and ran by Louie Cortez, the show is now ran through a private radio station for all to enjoy. Select outdoor seating is available while some in-car enjoyment is also at the ready. Shows take place each night starting at 6:00pm and usually kick off mid-November through January 1 of the new year. 

Noon Year's Eve
Give your family a truly memorable experience at Kansas Children’s Discovery Center’s famous Noon Year’s Eve! Ring in the New Year with a pancake breakfast sponsored by Hy-Vee, serious fun sensory play and the thrilling KCDC balloon drop at noon! Each child will receive a party kit and wonderful memories of their special new year celebration. It’s all the fun of New Year’s Eve, specially designed for young children.
