TARC's Winter Wonderland
View dazzling holiday light displays, featuring one million lights, while winding through a 2-mile scenic drive at Lake Shawnee. Event runs nightly starting late in November through December 31.

CASA Homes for the Holidays Tour
Tour homes elegantly decorated for the holidays by area designers and florists. Admission supports advocacy services for abused and neglected children. Enjoy the tour in November.

Miracle on Kansas Avenue
This annual favorite features the lighting of the community Christmas tree, followed by a lighted holiday-themed parade. Don’t miss out this Small Business Saturday finale. Typically held the first weekend in December.

The Nutcracker Ballet
Performances of the Nutcracker Ballet can be found not by one ballet company, but often by two! Both Ballet Midwest and Kansas Ballet put on a show for the masses each holiday season. Catch their performances at the Topeka Performing Arts Center!

Annual SLI Festival of Trees 
Enjoy one-of-a-kind decorated holiday trees, homemade baked goods, entertainment, a craft boutique and more each year typically late November through the first weekend in December.

Christmas Light Show 
Topeka Bible Church presents their annual Christmas Light Show. The Light Show combines Christmas lights, lighting effects, live musicians and vocalists to fill their auditorium with a concert-like Christmas experience. While you’re there, be sure to enjoy children's activities, free glow sticks, and complimentary refreshments. The light show, which began in 2007, has been the church's gift to the Topeka community, sharing the Christmas story in a unique way. Noon Year's Eve
Give your family a truly memorable experience at Kansas Children’s Discovery Center’s famous Noon Year’s Eve! Ring in the New Year with a pancake breakfast sponsored by Hy-Vee, serious fun sensory play and the thrilling KCDC balloon drop at noon! Each child will receive a party kit and wonderful memories of their special new year celebration. It’s all the fun of New Year’s Eve, specially designed for young children.
