Farm to Fork Tour

Lettuce turnip the beet! Explore Topeka and our surrounding communities on this unique and rare opportunity to meet the people behind the great food and products from Kansas.

Every Kansas farm feeds approximately 128+ people. In 2011, Kansas ranked number one in the production of wheat flour and grain in the United States. Kansas also ranked second in production for wheat, cropland, sorghum silage and cattle and calf farms.

Kansas agriculture matters, not only to Kansans but to the entire world. In Shawnee County where Topeka is located, there are more than 880 farms adding up to a total of 206,243 acres of farm land.

Farmers are our neighbors. Let us show you how Kansans treat their neighbors, with a friendly smile and a warm plate of food. Sprout knowledge on the Farm to Fork Tour while cultivating an unforgettable experience.
