The shelter is located in beautiful Gage Park. The Mini-Train, Blaisdell Family Aquatic Center, Gage Park Amphitheater, Topeka Zoo and the children's play area are all within walking distance. The facility is completely enclosed with a full kitchen and restrooms. It is heated and air conditioned for year-round use. It is handicap accessible, has seating for 250, and a room capacity of 300.
