"Pie heaven just might be in Topeka, Kansas, at Bradley's Corner Cafe, where there are never fewer than 20 crimp-crusted beauties on offer at a time: pies of perfectly caramelized summer peaches, bracingly sour apple-cranberry, countless riffs on classic pecan. My favorite, available year-round, is the peanut butter-chocolate pie: Beneath a cloud of meringue lie layers of creamy peanut butter mousse and semisweet chocolate pudding—so thick I marvel that the servers manage to slice it."
