Speaker Bio
Todd Averett spent 20 years at Payless ShoeSource, starting as an analyst in the Compensation and Benefits department where he learned a great deal about organizations, retail, leading teams, and developing great organizations. As he made his way through the organization, he was eventually responsible for all training efforts for the company as the Director of Learning and Development where he lead teams in the US, Asia, Canada, Latin America, and Australia. He eventually became Vice President of Global Human Resources where he hired, on boarded and coached HR executives and teams.
In 2015 he started Leading People Partners to focus on leadership, strategy, change, and talent. In addition to doing consulting, executive coaching, and training, he provides speeches and talks on a variety of topics.
