The 2019 Small Business Summit, sponsored by the Greater Topeka Partnership Small Business Council and Azura Credit Union, will take place on Tuesday, October 22 at the Ramada Hotel & Convention Center, 8 a.m. – 2 p.m. This half day summit will provide entrepreneurs and small business owners with vital educational opportunities from area experts as well as nationally renowned professional speaker and author Paul Vitale.

“We want to provide all entrepreneurs, startups and small business owners with a meaningful – and affordable – program that will give them access to vital information all in one fluid format,” says SVP of Economic Minority and Business Development Glenda Washington. “This session will help them make that next step in their business endeavor, whatever stage they might be at.”

In addition to breakfast and lunch sessions, multiple panels and roundtables will be available. Session topics include marketing, HR, banking, insurance, non-traditional lending and legal assistance.

In his luncheon keynote presentation Vitale will share a message of empowerment and enthusiasm. Presenting “Community Support & Partnerships,” Vitale will challenge those in attendance to achieve maximum results and utilize their potential to the fullest. Well known for his enthusiasm and magnetic personality, Vitale, president of Matt Birk and Company, LLC, travels worldwide speaking to organizations about the importance of a positive attitude, a strong work ethic and other vital concepts.

“Azura is honored to sponsor this invaluable event.” says Jennifer Kirmse, assistant vice president business services, Azura Credit Union. “Events like the Small Business Summit are a huge indication of Topeka’s steadfast commitment to empower and advance its entrepreneurial and small business community.”

After the Summit, attendees can enjoy the Greater Topeka Business Expo, taking place from 1 - 4:30 p.m. in the Atrium and Ballroom of the Ramada Hotel & Convention Center.
