Coming off of their biggest year to date in 2019 with almost 200 events, Heartland Motorsports Park has BIG plans for the upcoming seasons. The event they’re most known for: the Menards NHRA Heartland Nationals presented by Minties is bringing the Pro Stock category back to Topeka, along with the beloved nitro burning Top Fuel Dragster & Top Fuel Funny Car, as well as Pro Mod, Top Fuel Harley, and many other classes. The closest seats available to the ground shake; 22,000 horsepower, side-by-side monsters at the starting line bring life to the stadium. If you want to get behind the wheel and experience the 1/4-mile rush yourself, Heartland Motorsports Park has 14+ Finally Friday Night Drags scheduled for race cars and street cars alike. Multiple Summit Racing Equipment ET Series events offer Test & Tune to anyone who wants to get some extra laps in, or just have some fun on a beautiful Saturday. If traditional drag racing isn’t your thing, Import Face Off is your event, and the Twisted Individualz are hosting their first-ever event at Heartland with a “King of the Street” Big Wheel Drag Race & Car Show in 2020. Heartland Motorsports Park’s 2.5-mile road course is the busiest of the six different racetracks at the 650-acre facility. Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) will host many events including Track Night in America where they welcome anyone to bring their car to enjoy a few laps around the track, as well as Kaw Valley Race Group. SCCA isn’t the only group making noise on the Road Course, as Pro National Auto Sport Association (NASA) Central Division will be returning with events, along with many other clubs hosting multiple events. If two-wheeled racing is more your speed, St. John 27 Motorcycle Racing School will be holding a record number of seven events while they celebrate their third decade of racing at Heartland. Also, returning after a fantastic 2019 event, American Historic Racing Motorcycle Association (AHRMA) will be coming back in 2020, bigger and better, with historical motocross racing, cross-country racing, trials event, and road racing.
